What the title says, after a short holiday break, I'm finally here hellooo >:0 ! Alright, so this is my first post of 2024, and I want to share some of my resolutions/goals as an artist this year, as well as what I plan to work on.

1.-First and foremost, I absolutely love creating character designs centered around dinosaurs, creatures, and similar reptile themes. Recently, I had the idea of making and selling some adoptables as a way to generate passive income, this beacuse im like halfway through art school, and this the need for money becomes more pressing with each passing day aaa (the bills and taxes are becoming real omfg). So, I'll be designing and selling wacky characters and creatures, mainly reptiles and insects, in my distinctive style. Here's an example:

I will soon start selling my first adoptable batch this 18 of January, as well posting some of these designs here in newgrounds!

2.-Additionally, I need to make progress on some art school exams and create a digital portfolio for the future. I've been contemplating creating some mockups as a starting point. Here's an example and demo I worked on like november i think: Bunny-blitz mockup

Since like all my life I've been developing fictional project ideas xD. Now that a year has passed and my art style has settled into a comfortable zone, I believe it's time to bring those ideas to life (as mockups idk how other areas works lol, more of that later). This means creating my usual illustrations and cover artworks, as well as mixing some lore and designing character sheets. Who knows, I might even explore further possibilities in the future.

3.- Another goal of mine is to embark on a comic project! Blending storytelling and practice for my master's degree in comics is a must objective at the moment bc the world of visual novels is so cool and one of my main inspirations. The format could be flexible, ranging from short stories or maybe more longer chapters focused stories. It's a goal I'm actively pursuing, and I'm determined to forge ahead.

4.- Im also considering joining and contributing my artistic skills to other areas! . I've always aspired to assist others in projects here on Newgrounds, whether it's providing art direction, designing backgrounds/characters, or contributing to HUD elements, among other things. It's a challenge that pushes me beyond my comfort zone in the arts (video game development or animation). So yes, I'm open to collaboration! If you know someone or have an idea that requires illustration support, I'm here to help. (I will make a separate and proper post to announce this btw.)

And thats all i have to say, after the adopts i will start to make some illustrations to post. Im excited to meet new art moots, drawing more silly drawings and just have fun with this artistic journey, see ya ng gang u are the best fr
