2K FOLLOWERS!!!! (QnA + OC GIVEAWAY) (continuation)

Yoo TYSM to everyone that participated in the last news post for the 2K FOLLOWERS!!! As well the words, truly appreciate it heheh, means a lot 🥹 

Without further ado, let's start with the answers of each question that yall asked (also, I wanted to mention that I used translator bc I find it much more honest and easier to answer in Spanish and then change it to English for this kind of thing lolol)

1.     How do you even come up with ur oc ideas?

To make OCs, I usually "let myself go" when drawing, the characters I invent are created in first instances through some improvisation with the pencil (most of the time in traditional lolol), so I just create a lot of crazy characters without any concrete theme.

If I see that one of these OCs has potential, then I keep developing it and creating stories based on that design! as well as polishing it along the way and creating some lore and ideas around it.

*Example of some random ass characters, i usually dont post those even tho its what i like doing the most in terms of arts xd

2.     What's your main goal with your art? Do you want to do story oriented stuff like movies / shows / comics? Or do you think you'll stick to Game Dev stuff? Or no interest at all and art is just manual breathing for you.

My main goal with my art would undoubtedly be what you mentioned there with "Manual Breathing" xdd. I like to create "for creating" and its something I do almost daily, because it is my language as a creator and something of my own that I enjoy doing and sharing, and once I have something already created and could have potential, I borrow / take it for later to continue developing that idea. In second priority would be game dev in my mind, I have always wanted to make video games and I enjoy helping in those!, I would still like to have an artistic field apart from drawing + video game creation, but only time will tell (regarding comics, animation, etc...) to expand my abilities and keep experimenting.

3.     What got you interested in teaming up with creators? + What are the types of OC’s or fanarts you like the most to create!

NGL at first I wasn't good at getting involved or collaborating with others online for any type of project xd, I guess I was very shy at that time, but the more time passed the more I understood that “there is strength in numbers”. In the case of PumpkinShosho, he was the one who invited me! which I really appreciate soo much, I always wanted to make a video game and when he told me that I could illustrate one well I don't even doubt it hehehe. Then we just kept cooking and could finally host one project of mine with the "Spectra Collab", so really cool stuff teaming up with others frfr

About the second question, the fanarts that best qualify to be created / drawn must comply with two factors imo, the first one is that I need to like the style of the franchise (or at least that I find some opportunity in it to be able to portray it in my own way), and second that I have a certain connection with it, that's why the fanarts that I like to create the most are the ones with idk unique, cartoony and well cool style xd.

As for OC, well, something similar! I like to create those that show potential in their designs and that are fun to draw and color, besides that the viewer can observe them and imagine what the "universe" of which these inhabits would be like

4.     I see you love to do art pieces involving an ensemble cast. That’s basically 90% of the Newgrounds site backgrounds showcased here. Would you ever like to do one for ol’ Tom?

For some ol´Tom art hmm I guess I could do another Pico Day artwork in the future! I already did one back in 2023 and was really cool , would love to make another updated version of it with even more newgrounds nyehehe

5.     ¿Por qué eres un gato azul? Es decir, ¿De dónde viene tu sona?

Siempre me ha gustado el “trope” este de los gaticos azules xd, desde el diseño de personajes cartoon de felinos y pues mi color favorito es el azul! El diseño de mi avatar/zona/pfp surgió sin mucho boceto, fue un dibujo random que hice por el 2023 que hice como en 10 minutos jkjksjks de manera casual, y pos me gusto y así nació el dongatoazulado

6.     What your favorite part about your process in making artwork?

Hmm its kinda hard to decide xd but I would say the sketch part and the shadows/rendering part! The first one bc it doesn’t require too much skill and concentration, its just you expressing yourself in the canvas, no pressure and no limits hehe, and the shadows and shading because you can notice how your artwork becames more “polished” as you go, it really makes you feel surprised how the picture drastically changes

7.     What's your favourite Pokemon?

OSHAWOTT!!!! And Victini lolol, it depends on the mood tbh and cant choose just one of them nooo

8.     Whats your favorite street/fast food?

My favorite fast food its definitely pizza!! But the OG one, a classic pepperoni with cheese and that, a timeless masterpiece and its perfect for everything

9.     Seriously love the emoji character design series you did recently - Will another one of those series pop up again in the future?

Another emoji batch characters would be insane! I had a lot of fun and I received lots of interaction with it xd, I would certainly do another one, or something similar of that style with suggestions from others into character form!

10.      Pregunta, si Disney comprase los derechos del gato azulongo (tú) por cinco cacahuetes y diez dólares y te hicieran una adaptación liveaction, que raza de gato serías?

NOOO DISNEYY NOOOO 🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃!!!!!!

Ok xd Si el gato este azulado tuviera una raza específica pues sería un gato azul ruso imo, ósea esta en el nombre mismo tendría sentido, lo difícil seria darle el color característico de un #0000FF sin que le pase nada, pero yo confío en el (+ la bufanda verde uff)
